On-site Repairs
We do repairs on-site. We assess the problem to decide if we have to replace computer parts or if we can repair the old computer parts. We understand there are a lot of people that don't want to upgrade as some software doesn't work on new operating systems. So never feel forced to upgrade when you know your software won't work. In that case, we will try and source the part.
Collection, Delivery or courier
We go to the client or the client leaves the computer with us and we do the repairs. We can also courier the computer if it will make it easier for you. We will be using The Courier Guy as that is the most trustworthy Courier in South Africa.
Honesty is the Best Policy.
As we work we take photos of how the work is progressing. We do this so that the Client is always in the scope of what is happening. We do not charge for QC/Stress test as it takes 24 to 48 hours. We only charge the label for the work that has been done. All our work is thoroughly tested so the Client can be satisfied with the working project.
Custom Computers.
We build custom computers t a client’s specifications or if the client wants us to do the configuration we can do that. If the client needs help with a configuration we can assist as we believe in price-to-performance, an example is if you buy a pc that is 20% more but 5% slower then it’s a great price-to-performance build.
Computer Repairs.
We do all kinds of repairs/replacements of parts. Thermal paste change/ computer cleaning is a procedure we do while we repair a computer as a dirty computer can give inaccurate data for temperature.
Quality Control.
All our Parts get thoroughly tested. Our program uses 100% resources. We monitor temperature and voltage, The test is an unrealistic scenario but it’s an indication of how the pc will handle during long spells of gaming or working video editing/gaming programming or any other hard type of work the client may have.
Home Networks.
We set up home networks. There are different ways to set up a home network one of which includes a client sitting at work that needs to get data from his home computer. We do this using a VPN and a secure network with a Name and Password that the client chose. We do not keep any data of the client. The name and password are case-sensitive for added security.
Software Installation
We know how hard it is to keep up with software. Software can last a lifetime but there are times when you have to upgrade to the latest. Some Clients Still use Windows XP as their software does not work on new Operating Systems. The biggest problem usually is change. Will this work, Will that work? We have the latest operating systems installed so we test it beforehand and notify the client whether it works or not.
Remote Access Support
One of the best things in life is how the internet changed everything. Rather than driving around to get a problem fixed. The client can sit in the comfort of his own home. While we log in over the internet and fix the problem. Some problems cannot be fixed over the Internet but most software configurations can be fixed over the internet.
